After years of capturing genuine moments, I realized that true beauty cannot be controlled. It is born in the unexpected — in a sigh, a shy gesture, a hug that almost hurts because it is so real. It is in this intensity that my photography in the Algarve lives: intimate, profound, and guided by natural light that reveals what we usually keep hidden from the world.

As a family photographer in the Algarve, I don’t seek perfection. I seek truth. I seek what trembles, what pulses, what gives you goosebumps. In my affective documentary photography, each image is a fragment of a soul: real poses, raw emotions, memories that cling to us even when time tries to take them away.

Some moments carry weight. A sweet, almost sacred weight. These are the moments I transform into memory. Photographs that are not just beautiful — they are lived. They are felt. They can take you back in time, make you relive what you thought was already forgotten. As a family photographer, my mission is to create unique moments that transcend the present and become an emotional legacy.
